There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.””

The slavery from which they were rescued in Egypt looked much more appealing to the Israelites than the trials of the desert. We, like the Israelites, are quick to forget how God has worked miraculously and been there with us through difficult times. When faced with the challenges of change or hardship it is critical to remind ourselves of the protection and sovereignty God has demonstrated in the past so that we can remain confident of His faithfulness in the barren seasons. Our lives may be in flux, but Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb 13:8)🚦
