These last words Jesus spoke to the disciples following his resurrection and before ascending to heaven provide immeasurable comfort for those who walk with Him. Has a friend let you down or even seemingly abandoned the longtime relationship? He is there. Are life circumstances becoming so overwhelming it’s difficult to keep moving forward? He is with you. Are you missing the presence of a loved one who has passed? His arms are around you. He gets it.
